Principal's Message
Welcome Back Marvelous Mustangs!
It is with great honor and excitement that I welcome you back to the 2022-2023 school year! We hope everyone enjoyed a great and restful summer break! Hemmerling is proud and excited to have hosted very successful summer school and summer camp programs, in partnership with the Boys and Girls Club.
Hemmerling’s unwavering commitment continues to focus on creating a rigorous learning environment that promotes college and career readiness through academic, social, and emotional learning. Our district and school theme this year is, The Time is Now, to build on the Marvelous Mustangs’ learning and collaboration momentum. Therefore, Hemmerling will continue to build upon and maintain a focus on differentiated instruction and interventions for all students. Our school remains committed to a research-based and well-rounded educational approach that includes AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination), PBIS (Positive Behavioral Intervention and Supports), SEL (Social and Emotional Learning), iReady, Renaissance AR and Freckle, Read Naturally, Boardworks, SAI, as well as our core curriculum and other innovative practices such as Math Literacy and Cognitive Guided Math.
As a professional learning community, we look forward to honoring and celebrating our students' achievements in collaboration with staff, parents, and community partnerships. As your proud principal, I value our continued partnership to ensure that our Marvelous Mustangs continue to receive the highest quality education they deserve.
Please stay up to date and check out our district and school websites, as well as Parent Square, and social media for the latest updates, news, and calendar events. Also, grade levels may be posting pertinent information for the upcoming school year.
All necessary documents, including emergency cards and teacher assignments, will be found on the Aeries Parent Portal. Rosters will go live next week. A message will be posted on Parent Square when rosters are ready for viewing. Please call the school for support or if you need additional information.
