Eligible families may receive $120 per child to help purchase groceries this summer through California's SUN Bucks (Summer EBT) Program.
Banning Unified School District is pleased to announce that summer transportation route information is now available for students participating in Summer Academy, Extended School Year (ESY), and the Expanded Summer Enrichment Program.
Banning Unified School District will provide free meals to children and teens throughout the summer through the 2026 Summer Meal Program. Meals will be available at multiple community and school locations across Banning and Cabazon.

Seth Duro-Martinez of Hemmerling Elementary School earned first place, and Pedro Valdez of Central Elementary School earned second place following the final championship match. The previous release incorrectly identified the first-place winner.

On April 16, students at Hemmerling Elementary School gathered in the Multi-Purpose Room (MPR) to participate in an interactive STEM watch party as part of the Links-STEMReady National Signature Program.
